Series of Photos
2010

A series of photographs displaying supermarket products divided per color. Per Color is a project realized during an artist in residency programme at JACA, in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.

In this series of images, the artist used the supermarket space, inherently a space of seduction, control and manipulation, to somehow stage a performance, an exhibition. The attempt here, in the action of moving the products about without buying them, is to subvert a certain structure of power, while putting the viewer in the context of so called daily-life.

Digital Print. 36 X 36 cm. Edition of 3.
