This action was inspired by Camera Lucida, a book by Roland Barthes. In photography, the photographer (operator) holds the power, he is able to take the identity of someone. By hiding, the subject subverts this power structure and takes its individuality out of the Photo. He is there even by not being there. This performance was made in collaboration with the photographer Georg Molterer in Amsterdam in 2007.
