About
I am an Italian Visual Artist and Graphic Designer based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. In 2006 I graduated with a Bachelors degree in Design from the ISIA (Florence, Italy) and Bauhaus University (Weimar, Germany). Following this, I continued my studies at the Sandberg institute of the Rietveld Academy, Amsterdam, where I achieved my Masters degree. In 2010, I was granted a scholarship for a three-month residency at JACA, Center for Contemporary Art in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.
Since 2007 I work as a freelance Graphic Designer for the cultural industry and the creative world, combining this activity with my self-initiated research in visual arts. In my works, I like to explore the territories in between Graphic Design and Contemporary Art. My work is, in essence, multi-medial. My research gives birth to a series of site-specific (and media-specific) interventions in the public space with a conceptual and narrative charge.
I am currently looking for residencies and freelance opportunities. Feel free to contact me for any inquiry.
